Kellie Martin is she is an American actress and film director popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, she is known for playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven. The aunt of her mother, who worked as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land an unimportant role in the television series Father Murphy. Following her graduation of Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. Martin is also a photographer and a dancer.
